(OP)
Dear Sir,

I will really appreciate if you can tell me what is the  limit for KL/R  ratio for  X brace, single diagonal brace,K brace, V and inverted brace V for high seismic area ( AISC341-05) for compression member. UBC 97 use to have limit of 720/sqrt(Fy). In AISC-341-05 for ordinary concentric brace frame there is limit for K,V and inverted V of 4*(sqrt(E/Fy)) but doesn't say anything for X and single diagonal brace.

For tension member kl/r of 300 is valid for high seismic area or there is some additional limit.

 Best Regards
 Maverick29
