Test data, Mechanical properties

Test data, Mechanical properties

Test data, Mechanical properties

(OP)
Hi, everyone

I am in need to find data for som kind of elastomers. I have serached the internet without luck. I need to implement the data into a simulation program in order to somewhat get an idea of the mechanical behaviour.

Can anyone recommend a reference book for standard/common types, or is information available on the internet?

RE: Test data, Mechanical properties

blckwtr, a little more detail is needed to give you an adequate reply.

What sort of data do you need for your simulations?

RE: Test data, Mechanical properties

Uniaxial test data, biaxial test data, volumetric test data, planar test data.

In general, any parameters which can define a hyperelastic material physical properties.

RE: Test data, Mechanical properties

The site www.matweb.com may be useful, although I'm not sure about all the specific data you're looking for.
From the Matweb home page, select Material Type from Categorized searches. Then selecting from the left links Polymer, Thermoset, and Elastomer (or some of the other categories which may be elastomers as well), then Find. There's some general info, but some specific info on different rubber/elastomer compounds in the lists.

Hope this helps.

Did you finf by the end any test data with rubber?.
if is so, could you be able to share this data with me?., please let me know.

RE: Test data, Mechanical properties

Thanks.
I knew already about this page, The best for elastomeres and plastic like materials if you want to perform FEA.

I just would like is to increase my data base in elastomers.

For those how has data and want to calculate the constants for different models:
