Recommended coating for steel mill roller tables

Recommended coating for steel mill roller tables

(OP)
Steel Mill roller tables (and other related equipment nearby) have high temperatures in some areas (radiant heat from hot slabs and plates), continuous wet conditions in some areas, and water splashed conditions in other areas. The water is typically 35-40C although there is steam generation where the water touches the hot metal, and contains iron oxide scale in various amounts. Typical specifications call for 3 layer Alkyd coatings, or Silicone Alkyd Aluminium where the temperature is high.

Background environmental conditions are >80% RH and >35C in the building before production starts.

The material to be protected is general structural steel, and will be in the thousands of tons.

Rather than automatically accepting the usual standard, I am briefly checking the current market to see if there are any alternatives to improve the machine life (which will normally be quite short in some areas - wet areas will last maybe 4 or 5 years).
For example, I have come across a product called armourcote, and I was wondering if anyone has heard of it. Otherwise, I would be quite thankful to receive any recommendations for alternative coatings.

Best regards,
Dave Scott
