Saving A drawing with hidden parts

Saving A drawing with hidden parts

Saving A drawing with hidden parts

(OP)
Hi All,

I was wondering is there any way to save a drawing of an assembly which has parts hidden, then un-hiding those parts and making another drawing of that same assembly? I just need to know if there is a way to "lock" the drawings so it can't be changed.

Cheers

RE: Saving A drawing with hidden parts

Save it as a PDF?

Or create Configurations of the assy, each config having different parts hidden or suppressed, and call those into different drawings.

that configuration set-up seems to be the go, as the assembly is built in two sessions so they really require two drawings of the one product.

How do you save different configurations of an assembly

RE: Saving A drawing with hidden parts

There is lots of information about configurations in the SW Help files. Also the Design Table tutorial would be helpful.
