Any way to add sheet metal jog direction to a design table?
Any way to add sheet metal jog direction to a design table?
(OP)
Hi all:
I've got a generic sheet metal part with lots of variations that I have put into a design table. The base part is very simple - just a base flange with a jog in it.
I need to be able to vary the position, offset, angle and direction of the jog.
I can add the sketch dimension to where the jog starts, the angle, and the offset to the table easily, but I cannot figure out how to add the direction.
Thanks for any help...
Ed

However, you could create multiple jogs and control the suppression state of those in a DT. The same sketch for the Jog can be shared for each jog.

Still, thanks for the tip.

I swear it flipped for me this morning. Now it's saying that the DT cannot accept a negative number.

I'm interested to find out why I can't do it on my computer.

It's funny how that jog can reverse based on how far it is from the end of the part. Anyone else notice it? I can't quite get a fix on what it's using for rules.
