Utility Job Requirement
Utility Job Requirement
(OP)
Hi ,
I am sure some of you gurus work in utilities at a managerial or supervisor level. I will be interviewed for an Engineering Specialist position for a local distribution company. I come from a consulting engineering background.
I was wondering, if you guys could explain me this role in a LDC from a practical perspective and the expectations. Most of the work of this utility is U/G and O/H up to 27.6 kV.
I would appreciate a word.
Thanks

So a Substations Engineering Specialist would be a P.Eng whose job was to support the o,m & ts for all the Substations in the company.
This likely doesn't apply 100% accurately to your scenario, but hopefully 80% or better.
Good luck,
