what are some of the common cause for a submiserable centrifugal pump to go over current ???
hydualicly speaking ....
another question .... will a centrifugal pump, pump in the right direction even the impeller is rotating in the wrong direction?? if yes, what are some of the by product of that???

Bearings failing.
Not enough restriction in flow.
Motor stalled.
Yes the water will continue to flow in the correct direction but you may only get %50 of the flow you are paying for.
