Multiple applications running on the pc can be selected on the task bar while holding cntrl down, and then just the selected ones can be tiled vertically or horizontally to share the screen using a right click.
...except solidworks (at least 2009 sp4.1) simply doesn't follow this windows rule and its window doesn't resize.

Anyone got a way to get solidworks and another application to share the screen equally and fully ? (while other applications remain minimised).

It works the same here.
I don't know why SW will not tile.

I don't tile my windows because I use duel monitors. Tiling the one screen makes the apps too small for me.
