Hi!

I need your help.
Actually in my company we used this equipment:

Dell Precision T3400
Windows® XP Professional 32B
Intel Core 2 Duo process E7400
2.80GHz 3MB L2 Cash
2GB DDR@ 667MHz SDRAM
Nvidia, Quadro NVS290 256MB
160GB 7200rpm SATA

For CAD all right.
But we have many problems with CAE.
Many of them because memory (Internal and Virtual memory).
I don't know what is the problem with my PC.
I'm looking for advice, maybe change some hardware spec.
We are introducing this CAE tool (NX Nastran).
Please help me.

David

Ram...

I think to get you going now, up it to 8mgs (which I think is your max). Especially for CAE.

Ok, I will keep on mind.
This is just for upgrade my PC,

What do you suggest?

You'd need to be running 64Bit O/S to move up the RAM effectively over 4Mb.

Also it might be a better idea to let Windows7 come out and actually bed in for a few months before you change if you can afford to wait.

Best Regards
