Continues STATIC and MODAL Analysis

(OP)
In ANSYS, I wanted to carry out a STATIC analysis (load step 1, using LSWRITE command) (NLGEOM is on) and maintaining the same results to go on MODAL analysis (load step 2, using LSWRITE command). However it is not possible. Can somebody advise how it is possible to do this modeling in ANSYS.
The other question, in MODAL analysis, the stress due to unity mode shape deflection can not be extracted (this stress in STATIC analysis is extracted by element table data forming, but the element table data seems does not work in MODAL analysis).
(I have already done the above duly in ABAQUS)

Regards,
Amir
