Strain aging

Strain aging

Strain aging

(OP)
According to API 571 : "Strain aging is a form of damage in older vintage carbon steels and C-0.5 Mo low alloy steels under the combined effects of deformation and aging at an intermediate temperature"

Can anyone tell me What's "intermediate temperature"?

is it between 350 °F and 700 °F?

Thanks,

RE: Strain aging
