I am currently using Enercalc 5.8. I'm thinking of upgrading to V6.  Any opinions out there on Version 6?

Thanks,

JKW

RE: Enercalc

It still has bugs that cause it to crash on some machines.  I'm hopeful that they will get it fixed because it looks like it will be a pretty comprehensive tool but right now I'm still somewhat disappointed.

When I get a solution out of it (if I turn off the graphics capabilities I get it to work about 95% of the time, with the graphics capabilites turned on it works about 50% of the time) I spend quite a bit of effort verifying the results.

I think the programming bugs have left me wondering if the engineering results are similarly buggy but I haven't found any major problems with the results yet. My confidence in V6 hasn't grown quite yet.
