Can't animate using Camera View

Can't animate using Camera View

Can't animate using Camera View

(OP)
Hi All,

Another issue with animations. I have a camera moving along a path. However whenever I go to create an avi it kicks me out of my camera view. Can you set the animation to always show the camera view when it runs?

Thanks

RE: Can't animate using Camera View

Just a guess, since I always forget exactly how to do this.  But if you go back to your starting key point in the animation, make sure your animation is set to run through the camera view.  The wording is vague and confusing, but there's a setting to make it view the animation through the camera view.

I had it set to camera view but it kicks me out. Any animation updates coming in 2010? It seems like the only part of Solidworks that hasn't been revamped.

I'll keep plugging away.

Thanks

So a little more detail:

1) If I select play from start it kicks me out of camera view.
2) If I select camera view and then just click on play it moves through the animation using the camera and all is fine.

3) Any way I try to save an animation it kicks me out of camera view.

Any thoughts?
