2001 AWC NDS - information

2001 AWC NDS - information

2001 AWC NDS - information

(OP)
Ok, got an interesting situation: I am reviewing a building using the AWC 2001 NDS.  The problem is that our actual NDS has gone AWOL.  I have all the other supplements and information included in the original package, just not the NDS.  I do, however, have a 1997 NDS.  So my question is this: which of the adjustment factors listed in table 2.3.1 have changed from the 1997 to the 2001 editions?  Particulary the incising and form factors, do they still apply?

-I've requested that an electronic copy of the 2001 edition be purchased, but I am still waiting for an approval.
-I could purchase out of my own pocket, but have had reimbursment issues in the past.  (Corporate life in a recession.)  As always, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

RE: 2001 AWC NDS - information

CCB1 - Very reasonable question... just hard to give an accurate answer. I have 2001 NDS but don't have 1997 NDS. Appears that the two documents cannot be compared directly - for example, Table 2.3.1 does not exist in 2001 NDS.

The short answer to your question is that both incising and form factors do apply, in certain situations. But, I suppose you will have to wait for delivery of your 2001 NDS to see if they are applicable for your particular set of circumstances.
