Creating PIST points

Creating PIST points

Creating PIST points

(OP)
Hello All,

I am trying to create standard vector-point sets and describe their location and direction relative to a chosen CSYS.  The points are located on a face and the vector is normal to the face.  I have tried using the coordinate note feature in PMI, but this seems only to give results in absolute. My current workaround involves many steps per point, and we create several hundred of these at a time.   Does anyone have any advice on this?

Thanks,
Hitchcock

RE: Creating PIST points

please contact me and describe what you will be using the point/vector data for and I may be able to point you down the right path.
