Hi,

I am trying to calculate the total head for a piping system as shown in the attached file.


Could anyone help?

The pressure drop is dependant on the flow rate, and size of pipe, along with other fittings (valves etc).

In short, you haven't provided enough information.

and the drawing isn't clear on direction of the lines, up, down, angled down, looks more like homework assignment.

Further (after you have collected this data - without which nobody can answer your question), I would not recommend addressing general pipe flow issues in this forum, since more piping issues are discussed in that specific area.  Use the Piping & Fluid Mechanics forum, please.
