OCIMF Standard

OCIMF Standard

(OP)
As a company we have been approached by one of our client to fabricate Lifting frame for Hoses in accordance with OCIMF standard.

To be honest this is the first time when I heard about such standard.

I have put an inquiry to OCIMF but they came back with advise to get "Guidelines for the Handling, Storage, Inspection and Testing of Hoses in the Field" but I looked through the web site and found there content of the book and I am not sure that this book reflects the guidance for fabrication of lifting equipment for hoses.

Could anyone do me a favour and guide me whether our company needs to be approved for fabrication such frames or we can fabricate it following OCIMF standard. And which standard (title) I need to dig out.
