Hi,
In the dynamic analysis, the guyan reduction is widely used to condense the model. Guyan reduction involves a reformulation of the stiffness and mass matrices based on partitions of the siffness matrix. But, actually static condensation and guyan reduction represent the same matrix operations. For deteiled discussion see K.J Bathe section 10.3. about approximation methodes.
