Anybody out there have used IronCad?

What do you guys think about it?

Hi Andrew,

I downloaded it from the webpage and I think it looks like Pro/Desktop of PTC corporation (which one is free).

It's not a software that cannot compete with SolidWorks.

I know a company that used to use SolidWorks. Recently they fased out SW and switched to IronCad. What might be the reason?

Yes, Ive used it, and I think what it does, it does well.
I think SW is more suited to my needs tho. My first impression from IronCAD was that it was a 'toy', because it was so easy to use, but as I used it more, I thought less of that. But it does have its quirks... have you tried importing a solid from ironCAD yet?
