Hi,
Installing nx5 onto a hp moblie workstation 8730w.
The install is complete but when stating nx it gets some of the way and then just crashes, the licence file is working ok.
It looks like an nx problem.
Thank you for your help

Ian

RE: nx5 install

Error message? Type of license? Graphics card? Some of these may affect your situation. The best advice we can give for these kinds of issues is always call GTAC or at least your local support crew. If nothing else they're going to be on top of most licensing issues.

Thank You Hudson,
I am talking with my local suppot crew to fix the problem
Does any one know the difference between the HP mobile workstation 8730w & the HP elitebook 8730w mobile workstation?

RE: nx5 install

Again HP ought to be able to answer that for you pretty much straight away.

RE: nx5 install

If NX fails during startup, there is probably still a syslog file in the temp area - it may give you some ideas.

Are you using ont-of-the-box customer defaults and ugii_env file? These are things that can prevent startup.
