NX5 Manufacturing

NX5 Manufacturing

NX5 Manufacturing

(OP)
I want to preface this post with an appology for my extreme ignorance in the manufacturing side of NX.

In NX3 and 4, our programmers used an operation to clean up faces on machined blocks called angle, angle, distance.  They cannot find this in NX5 manufacturing.  Has this been removed, or moved?  They are finding this missing operation to be quite cumbersome, especially when updating the program of a legace part that has this operation.  I have attached screen shots from 3 and 5 showing the different dialog boxes.

Thanks for your help.  I will give additional info if needed.

RE: NX5 Manufacturing

It's all right there in your Non Cutting Moves. In the open area you see Linear then Length then Swing/Ramp Angles. Swing+Ramp+Length = Angle-Angle-Distance.

Thanks for the quick feedback.  I will run this by out manufacturing team.

Will this fix the issue of legacy parts/programs blowing up on the angle angle distance operation?
