RE: K factor Transformers

Are there any manufacturers in the U.S. who make K-rated
transformers?

I spec'd a K-rated 2500 KVA padmounted unit seven years ago,
and received two bids.

Three years later, I again spec'd out a K-rated 2500 KVA padmounted transformer, and received NO bids.

What is the deal with K-ratings?
