Welding or glueing a barrier film to a glazed EPS box

Welding or glueing a barrier film to a glazed EPS box

(OP)
Hi, this is my first post here so please be gentle if i mess it up.

Here's my problem.

I want to put a film as a lid on top of a EPS-box. I've come to the conclusion that I need a multilayer film with a EVA-layer that will stick to the EPS. I don't want the EPS to melt so the EVA has to have a lower melting point than the EPS. ( I've checked Matweb and the general information tells me that this should be possible).

What kind of welding would suit this type of process? IR?

Where can I find more information about different multilayer films (other than matweb)?
