Newbie needs pricing assistance

(OP)
Hello
I have a small project which requires 900' of fiber optic cable and an ethernet/fiber/ethernet conversion.  I have been getting a wide range of prices for the fiber and termination kits.  I have a Phoenix system which will cost about $4200 for the entire kit (fiber, termination kit, and converters).  The fiber cost is $9.40 per meter.  Can someone tell me if these prices are typical or not?  And can someone also tell me approximately how much a system like this should cost?

thanks,
eeprom

This question is probably better suited to be posted at Tek-Tips.com in their cabling forum.
