Protection wrap for PSV's

Protection wrap for PSV's

(OP)
Friends,

Can anyone provide information on good wrapping material for valves?  Many times the valves are not properly protected from weather and external agents while in storage.

RE: Protection wrap for PSV's

You are probably sitting in a part of the world where climatic conditions vary from where I am : here is at the moment zero deg C and snow expected in higher areas.

Recommended stocking conditions here: indoor or in weatherproof container, alternatively weatherproof box.

For other climates outdoors box as above or perhaps strapped on wooden pallet covered by stretched (crimping if possible) plastic without possibillities for rain or water to gather, also perhaps each item wrapped in 'bubble plastic sheets' to protect surface against damage from shocks and/or condensate by climatic variations. Ends covered by plastic lids.

Offshore: local conditions vary, indoors required (before mounting)

Remark for wooden pallets:..or other material than wood if you require termiteproof wrapping..? ! (Has actually met this requirement once !), or locked container if metal or product theft is an issue ( winky smile )
