Please excuse my lack of knowledge regarding this aspect however it is not my specialty.  I am simply assisting my partner in his other work.

He is trying to test the adhesion of a polyurethane coating, but he needs a glue that will test a strength of at least 1500 lb/inch2.  We have followed the Polyurethane's manufacturer's suggestion with two different types of glue, Loctite 404 and 3M 1838, however the strength of both of the glues is only a little over 500lb/inch2.

Can any of you fine engineers suggest a glue that will meet the standard of 1500lb/inch2?

Thank you in advance!!!!
