Inventor 2010 Content Center problems
Inventor 2010 Content Center problems
(OP)
Using Inventor 2010. Having troubles with the content center. Specifically with trying to insert fasteners. When trying to insert a bolt, the following error occurs: "Unable to successfully update the member part file. Problem occurred when setting thread data".
It then always inserts a very fine thread, even if I selected a course thread.
Is there a way to just reload the fasteners of the content center back into Inventor? Or will this not even work?
Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks in advance for the help.

I think there may be a problem with your Thread.xls or the path to your design data. If you want a new Thread.xls file you can go to the design data folder of your root inventor installation directory and run the DesignData.exe. This will extract the same design data files that were installed with Inventor. First though I would check that your application options and your project are looking to the correct directory for your design data. It could also be a problem if it is looking at an older version of the Thread.xls file.
