Welding pipe at an angle
Welding pipe at an angle
(OP)
1. I have a pipe with flange connected to it. The flange will be welded to the pipe at an right angle.
2. This pipe/flange assembly will be inserted into the plate. The pipe/flange assembly needs to be at an angle to the plate.
How can I accomplish this? Welding the pipe/flange assembly to the plate at an angle is too tough.
I was thinking of putting a angled spacer between flange and plate to give it an angle. Any ideas?

RE: Welding pipe at an angle
It's barely a sketch.
It doesn't match the text within it, or the text you've supplied here.
No offense is intended, but you need to make a better drawing to show us what you're trying to do. I'm guessing that you'll need at least two orthogonal views.

But still I'd want to know why you want to do this?
RE: Welding pipe at an angle
also what conditions will the pipe be operating at?
Please do drop more information or knowledge you have on this subject they will all be taken in and appreciated.
