Solubility of metals as a function of pH
Solubility of metals as a function of pH
(OP)
Not sure if this is the right group to ask, but I think you will know either the answer or who to ask:
One of the hydrologists working on a mine tailings environmental study just walked in and asked if I had a table that shows the solubility of various metals as a function of the pH.
I found a graph that shows it. But, she would like a table.
Does anyone know of one on line?

RE: Solubility of metals as a function of pH
I would assume that an extractive metallurgy text would be the best source.

RE: Solubility of metals as a function of pH
In our case we have a hydrocarbon process stream into which a range of organic acids condense as the stream loses temperature.
We sample daily and have history which shows repeated pH readings down in the 3- 4 range... but the piping thickness seems to be ok. Still, I wouldn't mind a rule of thumb regarding CS's corrosivity v's pH.
