I doubt it. This is not new capability in Adobe 3D and I am sure SolidWorks and Dassault have been quite aware of Adobe 3D's functionality for some time now.

I suspect it is more a Dassault issue then SW.  Dassault's Catia is the one that stands to lose the most by writing the code to allow Catia files to be opened in SW.
