the above thread dates back to 2008 and is now closed but I have just attended the site.
any fresh ideas on how teflon tape can be securely bonded to silicone rubber?
have tried many methods and tried also bonding to epdm rubber.
please enligten me.

Your question is a little vague.  Depending on what you are trying to achieve you might want to look at different options.  Are you lining the inside or outside of the rubber with the teflon? Are the materials dynamic or static in the application?
