(OP)
Hi colleaugs
I recently change my os from xp 32 bit to 64 bit as you know it runs faster and better. but i have problem with abaqus installation.
i completely install visual c++ .net 2005 and intel fortran 9.1 and abaqus 6.8 but when i use abaqus verification it doent go well. i try to set enviroment variables like in win 32 bit but xp 64 bit has to "PROGRAM FILES" and "PROGRAM FILES (x86)" and i dont know how to set the enviroment variable correctly.
the abaqus verification gives these failures:

RE: Problem with abaqus subroutine inatallation in win xp x64

For my install all of the files needed (except for the Abaqus files) are in the ..\Program Files (x86)\ directory. I don't remember if the path is the same after that but you can just a quick search for each of the to make sure.

hope this helps
Dan

Why are you not talking to the Abaqus help desk?

RE: Problem with abaqus subroutine inatallation in win xp x64

If you didn't install the compilers in their default directories you probably will have to search for them and then use those paths instead of the defaults.

If you did install the compilers in their default locations then you probably should talk to the help desk to get it straightened out.

RE: Problem with abaqus subroutine inatallation in win xp x64

Have you installed the 64bit version of the compilers???
