All you really need is in GPSA and ASME VIII Div. 1.
In the huge majority of cases I have seen, it ends up being SA-516-70N and related material with the wetted surfaces often coated with an epoxy primer like Devoe 253. The vapour outlet(s) might have a mesh pad (demister) inside the vessel, typically SA-36 angle supporting 316 SS 6#/ft^3 to 12#/ft^3 by 6" thick mesh.
Standard practice lately appears to be to fabricate all connections for three phase separation and dress the unit (instrumentation and bridles) for two phase operation.
