When I bring parts in from a part library into an assembly on SE ST the whole program freezes. If I bring in an assembly generated from another computer it comes in fine. Has anyone experienced this problem? How do I fix it? I have already reinstalled SE ST two times now and each time had to kill anything to do with "printing" in the processes tab in the task manager. Should I redownload Windows 7?

Quickbird,

from what I have read the last couple weeks, SEwST works just
fine on windows 7.
You just have to quit the proces of the printer installation.
And then everything should work just like it should be.
Its a known problem. Take a look at the official NG of Siemens PLM.

Xedu, thanks for the info. I already had to do that in order for SE ST to finish installing. This seems to be a different problem. I have not found anything about others having problems bringing parts into assemblies from the parts library. Any others with ideas?
