Calculating critical angles for DG-ICDA

Calculating critical angles for DG-ICDA

Calculating critical angles for DG-ICDA

(OP)
I am currently working on the second phase, indirect inspection, of a dry gas internal corrosion direct assessment. I'm trying to calcualte a critical angle for my pipeline using the equation provided by the NACE SP0206 standard, but the inputs of the equation do not yield a valid result. Here are the parameters of the project:

P=315 psia
T=60 degrees F
ID=12.25 in
rho(gas)=0.018 g/cm3
rho(H20)=1 g/cm3
Vg=16.93 m/s

Just curious if anyone else has run into a problem like this or if there are some other means at arriving to a valid critical angle?
