Importing NX Ideas 5 FEM into Ansys 11.0

Importing NX Ideas 5 FEM into Ansys 11.0

(OP)
Hi-
I am trying to import a large FEM model from NX Ideas 5 to Ansys 11.0 classic.  The model contains many shell, solid, beam, rigid, and spring elements along with restraints and loads.  I am not concerned about the loads/restraints since I can recreate these in Ansys.  I have used Ideas export Ansys utility to create a .dat file for import but receive countless errors during the import into Ansys.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

-Thanks
         Nathan

Also I have tried creating a UNV file to import into Ansys and have no geometry to work with.
