Have a pilot scale process that can be set up to make Mesitylene (1,3,5 trimethylbenzene), meta-diethylbenzene (1,3 diethylbenzene), or isodurene(tetramethylbenzene).  Process makes these unique aromatic chemicals in high purity (>99%).  Does anyone know of any high value / high volume use for these aromatics?

RE: Mesitylene, meta-diethylbenzene, isodurene

DougW,

Does your process produce each in greater than 99% purity?

Can make higher purity, but would require additional purification step.  How much purity would be required to market these aromatics?  I was impressed that the isomers were 99% meta coming off.
