Hello all,

Could you please help me where or how to find the dimension of Weldolet, 1200 mm x 700 mm, Sch STD.

Standards and internet pages give the dimensions of weldolets smaller tha 24 in.

Regards,

RE: Weldolet 1200 mm x 700 mm

With the pipe sizes involved, wouldn't it be easier to just use an insert plate? That is, for the section of pipe where you are making the branch connection, just use a rolled plate with twice the thickness of the pipe. You will automatically be providing the necessary area of reinforcement. Either way, you'll still have to consider the loading imposed by the branch. The run pipe has a large diameter to thickness ratio and will be more susceptible to imposed loadings.

SHalicioglu,

I guess the cost of this size weldolet (special item) and the welding is going to be enormous. I suggest to replace it with a standard reduced tee (ASME B16.9) and another reducer if necessary.

You can also use a split tee..
