ProMechanica 2001

(OP)
Has anyone had the chance to play around with this new module.
I've used Mechanica 2000i in the past without any problems.
2001 seems to provide more control over the part, however, i can't seem to run a simple model. All you had to do before was define constraints, loads, and material and then you were good to go.

Is there something I should watch out for in 2001??

RE: ProMechanica 2001

most simulation features can be seen from within model tree.
User interface has changed dramatically
connection menu is enhanced and rigid connections are new.
Postprocessing has changed quite a lot.

SPA solver, and AutoGEM are much faster !  you can also have access to autoGEM settings from within Pro/E
I think there is a new module called Fatigue Advisor fully integrated.

Well much more reliable !
