Does anyone know where I can get a copy of what the SPE standard is for bolt hole locations in injection molding machine plattens?  In particular I am looking for locations in machines over 1000 tons.

I have called SPI and they say there isn't a "standard".  Press manufactures just use the same holes to stay competitive and interchangeable with their competition. One guy I talked to it is probably based mostly on the DME moldbase sizes for safe clamping pratices.  Other than that there really doesn't seem to be any kind of standard.
