Materials qualified to RMS specs?

Materials qualified to RMS specs?

Materials qualified to RMS specs?

(OP)
Howdy all,

Does anyone have a list of qualified suppliers to Rohr Material Specifications or the qualifed products list for those RMS specs.  Specifically I'm trying to find qualified products for

RMS042 Type 2
RMS058 Type 5
RMS070
RMS078

to perform a manual repair for a PW4000 translating cowl.

As a second question, why does Goodrich/Rohr keep such information so tight lipped?  Boeing provides information on qualified products/suppliers without much hassle (If you have access to MyBoeingFleet)  I suppose there might be something similar at Goodrich Aerostructures which I may not have access to.

Thanks for your help,

RE: Materials qualified to RMS specs?

I think I have some info on the CF6 cowl, there may be something in there on mat'l specs.

RE: Materials qualified to RMS specs?

RMS042, Ty 2, Gr A  : AF31 (AF131) 3M
RMS058, Ty 5  : EA9205  Hysol  - Need Stir Pot paint gun to apply
RMS070  Liquid Adhesive (Primer?) EC-3976   (Can't purchase it, only Goodrich)
RMS078  Barrier (Can't purchase it, only Goodrich)

Because they want to sell you a repair kit.
I'll leave it at that so I don't get flagged.

I'm using a DER to substitute materials on our repairs.

Thanks bf109g and rerig,

This will give me a good start for the analysis.
