Is spot radiograph required on each welder per UW-11 and UW-52
Is spot radiograph required on each welder per UW-11 and UW-52
(OP)
UW-11(a)(5)(b) states that spot RT shall be in accordance with UW-52.
UW-11(a)(4) exempts NPS 10" and under from spot RT and less than 1 -1/8" thickness
UW-52(b)(2) states than radiograph shall be taken for each welding operator.
If a welder is not represented by a radiograph but has welded on a 6" buttweld is a radiograph required to satisfy UW-52(b)(2)?
