RE: The first SW website

I had an SP of SWX96 on eleven 3.25" floppies!  Had to get it from the VAR.  I don't know if it was even avaible for download.  Back then it was probably the old "bulletin board" anyway.

In 1997 SolidWorks changed the look of the website to a more modern look with solid colors.

And in 1998 they looked a bit different again:

They were hiring and the great Furby controversy was going on. Both Pro/E and SolidWorks claimed this popular toy for their own.

In 1998 SolidEdge put up their first website featuring V5. Guess they didn't know about the web for the previous versions.

Solid Edge was originally developed by Intergraph Corporation, and not until 1997 did Unigraphics come on the scene when as part of EDS they and Intergraph formed a new company that continued to develop Solid Edge.
The announcement was made about the time of V4.

Microstation also came under the Intergraph banner at that time.
