Determining the angle of belt wrap at drive

Determining the angle of belt wrap at drive

Determining the angle of belt wrap at drive

(OP)
Are there any tables and/or formulaes which may assist us in solving this problem? We require the angle to determine the k factor in the formula Tm (Slack side Tension) = k X Te. Where Te is 1788.27 N

Any help would be appreciated

RE: Determining the angle of belt wrap at drive

It's possible to do it with geometry, but it's usually much faster to lay it out, or take a photograph.

RE: Determining the angle of belt wrap at drive

If it's a V-belt drive don't you just use the manufacturers catalogue to select suitable belt drive configurations??
