Ansys WB 12: Mechanism motion creations

Ansys WB 12: Mechanism motion creations

Ansys WB 12: Mechanism motion creations

(OP)
Hello to everybody.
I'm new with ansys and I'd like to ask you some questions.
In ansys WB12 (or before) is possible to create assemble mechanism and solve it by kinematics and dynamics (obtaining for example mutual forces between bodies).
After the mechanism solution was obtained, go to component (e.x. the chassis of a car) fem analysis but importing the loads conditions from the mechanism analysis (just like pro/engineer-->pro/mechanism-->pro/mechanica).
All the required modules to do this type of analysis are already included in ansys wb or are supplementary add-ons?
Please take a look here:

Thanks in advance
PS: sorry for my english

RE: Ansys WB 12: Mechanism motion creations

What you are interested in simulating is called rigid-flexible dynamics. This simulation capability is only available in the ANSYS Workbench environment.

The minimum requirement to perform the simulation is ANSYS Structural with the ANSYS Rigid Dynamics Module (an add-on). See the link below for more information:
