Question on Concrete Sand Filter

Question on Concrete Sand Filter

Question on Concrete Sand Filter

(OP)
I remember a few months ago there was a discussion about using concrete sand for a filter around a french drain.  I believe there was some reference to a Corps of Engineers paper that was published discussing concrete sand as a filter material.  I have tried searching for this discussion, but can't seem to find it.

If anyone knows the name of the paper or where it can be obtained, I would greatly appreciate it.

If I remember correctly, it was 'oldestguy' that referenced the paper.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks bimr,

Thats the thread I was looking for.  In fact I had found it in my search but somehow missed the reference to the paper.

RE: Question on Concrete Sand Filter

Is this paper downloadable from anywhere as I would be interested to read it? I've tried university library searches here in the UK but no joy!
