How to get 2d view onto normal paper?

How to get 2d view onto normal paper?

(OP)
I feel like a bonehead, but I've spent too much time struggling with this, so I just have to ask---

I have an elaborate drawing on a 2d model, apparently at a scale of 1:1.  I want to get that drawing printed out on a sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper.  What's the procedure?

RE: How to get 2d view onto normal paper?

Dear bonehead...winky smile

Actually, if you've never done it before then reasonable question.

With my set up the far left column of buttons, 8th from top if you hover over it will say "2D Model View".  Using this you can plop down a view of your 2D 'model' same as you would from a 3 D model.

To set the paper up for 8.5*11 click on the tab at the bottom that says "sheetX" and select sheet set up, you have options to use existing templates or on other tabs you can manually set sheet size.
