I'm looking for the extrudability of aluminium 6262 alloy, I just can find out the chemical composition and no idea about the extrudability

RE: Extrudability of Aluminum 6262

So send your print to an extruder and get a quote.

thanks for the reply. but to tell the truth im an extruder too. that's a new project for me so im looking for the extrudability values.

RE: Extrudability of Aluminum 6262

Alloy 6262 will have poor extrudability.  It is an alloy created for good machinability (lots of second phase particles for initiation of ductile fracture), hence it will have poor formability.  I'm not even sure how you would obtain billet stock, since this is sold as cold-finished bars in the T6, T8, or T9 conditions from companies like Alcoa.
