COSMOSworks and wood
COSMOSworks and wood
(OP)
I'm running a model that contains both SS and mahogany wood. I can run cosmos on the SS support and it runs fine. But after finishing the study on the wood I get an error message when I try to run the study that says "please define Elastic modulus in material properties". I've looked at all the help sections and can't find any good info on this. So...How do I define the elastic modulus?

RE: COSMOSworks and wood
I have not worked with any wood material before so I'm not sure of a good reference for these properties

OP, you will have to go back into the SW tab and edit the material definition. I'm not sure that you can edit them while in Cosmos

On another note, there is a CosmosWorks Forum where the Cosmos users hang out. This forum is for the CAD side of SolidWorks.
