*.tso files
*.tso files
(OP)
Hello,
I was able to get rid of these *.tso files before with the help from the forums.
I am using GM toolkit and whenever I go to "save options" and remove the check mark from "save true shape data", it keeps on coming back when I restart UG.
There must be a config file somewhere in the toolkit that I have to change. Anybody know where and what it is?
TIA!

File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults -> Assemblies -> Site Standards -> True Shape(tab)
...and toggle OFF the 'Generate Component Shape Representation on Save' option.

UGII_FORCE_TRUESHAPE_SAVE=1
ask your admin to disable it in the batch scripts.
RE: *.tso files
I went to the
File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults -> Assemblies -> Site Standards -> True Shape(tab)
and even though it says its unlocked, everything is grayed out. Site and Group are read only and also grayed out.
Hello Uwam2ie,
Do you know which file to edit? I have admin privilege on my machine.
